My rate is $60 per hour (plus GST), charged by the half hour.
There is a $50 call out fee (plus GST), though if I need to make repeat trips to fix the same issue this fee is only charged once. Plus, the first hour of my time is only $99, which includes GST and the call out fee, a saving of 30%.

Of course! This will save you the call out fee, and you will simply be charged the hourly rate after a short consultation.

Unfortunately the short answer is yes. If the problem is that the hard drive is severely damaged, for example, there is a chance that data could be lost though all care is taken to minimise this risk.
Electric Mayhem Solutions recommends having a robust backup system in place, or storing multiple copies of files (eg. storing photos in the cloud) to help prevent loss of precious memories and other important files.

A tricky question to answer! There are ongoing costs to consider (domain and web hosting) and depending on the nature of the website, potentially security certificate costs (SSL).
You then have the design and build to consider, which may also involve paying for premium services such as premium WordPress themes and/or plugins, depending on the desired functionality.
