Who I Am
In short, I am Adrian Robertson.
I have spent the last 15 years in some way involved with the IT industry, whether it be in a sales capacity in the early days, moving on to hardware setup and support, network support, and then moving into a Software Development company where I find myself now, having worked for the same company since 1999.
My role has then continued to evolve, from on-site setup, repairs, training, small network administration, services delivery and management, and now onto web interface design for a range of online products.
Along the way I have learnt more about web design and the technologies involved, which started out as purely a personal thing, almost hobby, and yet slowly became something I started to find extra business for as my skills and experience grew.
I now have a passion for producing good looking websites, that are also clean in their markup and are cross-browser friendly, utilising technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, WordPress, Flash (no I don't build annoying Flash advertisements. Unless you paid me to do so ...), whilst keeping them XHTML compliant.
Any spare time I have left is mostly spent with my beautiful wife and 2 young daughters, who sometimes have to live with listening to me teach myself the electric bass.
